Job Description:

The Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing manual/automated testing and improving overall quality assurance practices with code reviews and implementing best practices in Cloud, Database, and JAVA technologies from the testing side. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Drive towards scaling the automation, platform, integration, and regression testing bed. Review and analyze business and technical requirements to determine testability and design documents for the test approach and plans. Hands-on experience in frontend, API, and/or database test automation: Selenium, Cypress, Serenity BDD, REST API testing, Cucumber. Set up Test Strategy for large-scale systems (typically Java-based, SQL-based, and ETL/ELT based applications in the cloud) to identify all the testing needs, including automation. Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing AWS cloud-based production systems and solutions, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems. Perform technical research and analysis to find the best solutions. Drive the troubleshooting of Automation issues and provide recommendations on Automation tuning exercises. Working experience in creating test documentation (Test Plan, test report, basic test metrics). Evaluate, review, and recommend various test tools and / or frameworks for automation, Automation testing, etc. Expertise in web application security testing and network penetration testing. Experienced in vulnerability assessments using Automated Scanners and Manual Security Testing. Load testing of mobile APIs. Good to have / Nice to have JMeter knowledge for performance testing. Experience in testing in a continuous integration environment Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven. Experience with defect tracking/management tools such as JIRA. Experience in everyday use of version control system (git). Basic knowledge of SQL & NoSQL Databases. Participates in handling difficult issues, quickly collect required info and find the useful clue and constitute a reasonable plan for the handle process.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
