Responsibilities:<ol><li>Innovative Conceptualization:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Generate creative and groundbreaking ideas for entirely new products based on market research, user needs, and emerging trends.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop unique product concepts.</li><li>Design and Prototyping:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models and prototypes of new product designs.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Iterate on prototypes based on testing and feedback, ensuring the final design meets or exceeds performance expectations.</li><li>Technology Integration:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies and incorporate them into the design process to enhance product features and capabilities.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Collaborate with technology specialists to integrate advanced components and systems into the new product.</li><li>User-Centered Design:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Conduct user research and feedback sessions to understand user preferences and incorporate them into the product design.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Prioritize user experience and usability in the development of new products.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Work closely with industrial designers, electrical engineers, and other specialists to integrate various aspects of design into a cohesive and functional product.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of production processes.</li><li>Rapid Prototyping and Testing:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Develop rapid prototypes for quick validation of design concepts and functionality.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Conduct testing and analysis to ensure the new product meets performance, safety, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Market Analysis:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Conduct market research to identify opportunities and gaps, ensuring that new products align with market needs and demands.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Analyze competitor products to identify areas for differentiation and innovation.</li></ol> Qualifications:<ol><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in the development of entirely new products, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools.</li><li>Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (CNC/VMC machining, injection molding, forging, surface treatment processes, etc.) and material configuration.</li><li>Working knowledge of manufacturing design tolerances &amp; inspection methodologies.</li><li>Working experience in APQP &amp; PPAP documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in relevant industries.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>Work experience with automotive (Tier1/2) companies will be an added advantage.</li></ol> Personal Attributes:<ol><li>Passion for innovation and creativity.</li><li>Ability to think outside the box and challenge conventional design norms.</li><li>Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes.</li></ol> Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay Types: Yearly bonus Experience: Total work: 1 year (Preferred) Application Deadline: 08/04/2024 Expected Start Date: 21/04/2024
